Believe in Yourself

Many people over the course of a life time let life's challenges and disappointments destroy their dreams. This is something that should not be allowed to happen. Suddenly we wake up one morning and wonder where our life went and what happened to all the dreams we once had. How do we rekindle the flame?

Just start somewhere. If you are like most of us, you have let fear have too big of an influence in your life. In order to have the life you want and deserve, some changes need to be made. Once the realization is made, we suddenly realize we have to do something, it's not going to happen just by wishing,as the Quakers say, "Pray, then move your feet."


As you begin to make changes in your life, will it be easy? No. Old habits are hard to break, normally one takes two steps forward and one backward, but as long as forward progress is made, it is good.  People around you will sabotage your new life, they don't like the fact you are changing, you no longer fit into their mold. This is the universe's way of testing you. How determined are you?

Your life will change, friends will leave your life, however, new friends will enter,  souls who are more compatible to your wants, beliefs and desires. That is how it should be, as we travel through life, we find many times our friends and associate change as we and they continue to grow and explore new pathways. In times as these, trust your inner instincts and guidance, you won't go wrong.

You must start living by faith instead of fear, whenever you start fearing what may happen, you are immediately being drawn back into a life of want and need. You need to keep focused on what you want in your life, having faith it will eventually come to you if it is for the highest good of all concerned.

Believing this good will eventually come to you, it may take some time and everything probably won't happen at once, although the longer you believe, the faster things start to come to you. The most important thing to remember, be flexible in what you desire, sometimes the universe has a future in store for us that is far better for us than what we can imagine, it is important to realize this and go with the flow.

Our dreams aren't always answered in the order the universe receives them, sometimes many things have to come into play before the final goal is reached, and once the final goal is reached, guess what? We get to start all over.
